Surveys and Investigations
 Description
The project involves detailed engineering high precision survey and leveling along the proposed sewer route in the developed city of Bangalore
Establishing BM’s and assessment of invert levels of main and lateral sewers near Manholes.
Geotechnical investigation by carrying out Auger boreholes/Trial pits and conducting Electrical Resistivity Tests along the surveyed route.
Preparation of digital maps and transferring same in to GIS of BWSSB.
Flow Measurement at drains and manholes along in Kathriguppe valley. Providing cross and longitudinal sectional profile at manholes and drains
Calculating discharge by observing gauge readings for 3 days
Calculating velocity by Manning’s Formula.
Transferring of level from nearest GTS benchmark to the manholes along the alignment.
Carrying out traverse survey (in order to identify the manhole locations along the alignment) for sewers with dia greater than or equal to 450mm (about 16 km)
Establishing the invert levels of the manholes, along the above alignment
Generation of Longitudinal Sections on 1:1000 hor scale and 1:100 ver scale..
Submission of data collected and drawings in GIS compatible format
Reconnaissance Survey and selection of appropriate site
Conducted river study by taking cross section of river at 100m c/c for 15 km upstream and 1 km downstream of the proposed barrage upto Full Reservoir Level (FRL)
Studied several alternate arrangements of gates and intakes.
Carried out geotechnical investigation by drilling 150mm dia bore holes at 50m c/c upto 15 to 20m along the length of the barrage.
Conducting laboratory tests for crushing strength of rocks, physical properties of soil using UDS and disturbed samples.
Preparation of General Arrangement Drawings, detailed designs and detailed working drawings.
Preparation of specifications, Tender Documents, Detailed Estimates and Bill of Quantities.
Consultancy Services for the Feasibility Studies, Surveys and Investigations, Design, Estimation, Preparation of Tender documents and Evolution of Tenders for the Construction of Vented Dam at Thumbe for supply of water to the city of Mangalore for a population of about 5 lakhs.
Techno-economic feasibility study and raw water transportation to KIADB industrial areas at Bidadi 100 MGD raw water supply to various parts of Bangalore city

2.2km of concrete sewers of diameters from 1050 to 1800mm.
Trenchless rehabilitation of sewers by structural lining method (using GRP Liners)
