Highway Division undertakes Feasibility Study, Planning and Design of Expressways, Highways, Major Bridges, Flyovers in India, Afghanistan, Libya and Saudi Arabia including Construction Supervision, Project Management and Value Engineering. SECON is involved in Delhi-Jaipur, Chennai-Bangalore, Mumbai-Vadodara, Delhi-Meerut Expressways and 6 lane Bangalore - Mysore Highway using modern technology like Remote Sensing and mobile LiDAR for data acquisition.
Water Resources Division has diversified into Airborne data acquisition, Remote sensing application, flood risk assessment, inundation, forecasting and mitigation measures. Work under execution include Gujarat and Chennai Flood Modelling projects.
Pipeline Division executed commendable Cross-country Projects in Tripura, Mizoram and upper Assam, using Remote Sensing.
Geotech Division has recorded outstanding growth, by executing complex Geotech / Geophysical Investigations, Seismic Tests, Underground Utility Mapping by Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Geological Appraisal, Foundation Engineering, deep drilling etc, for Chennai Metro and Seismic Microzonation Projects for 3 major Cities in India.
SECON along with JV Partners is involved in Multisensor Airborne Geophysical Surveys for about 160,000 Line Km. SECON is also engaged in Airborne LiDAR and Digital camera Data Acquisition for over 8,000 sq.km for Flood Modelling and Basin studies.
GIS and Software Department is engaged in Customisation of software products that has wide ranging application in Land Information, Road, Property Inventory, Engineering, Watershed Modeling, Pipelines, City Gas, Mobile Tanker Tracker etc.
The Photogrammetry, LiDAR and Remote Sensing Divisions offer high tech products & services of DTM/DSM/DEM, precision Ortho (air & space borne), Classification, Footprints, Electrical Assets, Base Maps and Land Use / Land Cover using UAV images, High Resolution Satellite Imagery, Aerial Photography and LiDAR Point Clouds Data for domestic and international clients across North America, Australia, Europe, Africa and South & South East Asia.
